Das Nachtleben in Kapstadt hat für jedermann etwas zu bieten. Von Restaurants direkt am Meer bis hin zu Bars und Nachtclubs. Es ist immer etwas geboten. Long Street, direkt im Stadtzentrum, bietet live Musik, clubs, billard bars, restaurants und eine pulsierende Partyatmosphäre bis spät in die Nacht hinein. Andere Plätze, die einen Besuch wert sind: Obersvartory (alternativ), Claremont (jung), Kalk Bay (entspannt) und Camps Bay (trendy). Transport ist in Kapstadt und Umgebung häufig ein Problem. Insbesondere dann, wenn man kein eigenes Auto hat. Fahre nie betrunken Auto! Das Gefängnis in Kapstadt ist kein Ort an dem du gerne eine Nacht oder gar ein Wochenende zubringen willst.
